Two new Physical Inspection Score Datasets were posted on HUD User on Dec. 4, one listing the scores for public housing properties and the other for multi-family assisted properties. These datasets differ in a few key ways from the Physical Inspection Score Datasets that have previously been posted by HUD. Previous versions of these datasets have included a limited amount of information on each project, and only the three most recent scores.
These new datasets include a number of new fields, including project address, core-based statistical area,
and county. HUD has also included the five individual scores that make up the final inspection score, rather than simply posting the final score. This change allows the public to see the score that a property received on its building exteriors, site, building systems, common areas, and dwelling units for every year the property has beeninspected from 2001 through September 2009.
